Overview

Notchalant is built to keep your teleprompter work private. We do not collect data from the app, and we do not use advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs, or third-party servers.

What Stays On Your Device

Your scripts, prompt settings, recordings, audio input, and camera input are processed locally on your Mac or iPhone. Voice following uses on-device speech recognition. Audio is not uploaded to Notchalant servers.

Recordings are saved locally on Mac. On iPhone, recordings are saved to Photos only when you choose to save them there.

iCloud

Some prompt settings may sync through your private iCloud account using Apple services. Notchalant does not operate its own cloud service to read or store your scripts, recordings, or settings.

App Store Purchases

Notchalant Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Permissions

Notchalant may ask for camera, microphone, speech recognition, and Photos permissions so you can record video, follow your voice, and save finished recordings. These permissions are used only for the features you choose to use.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same privacy policy URL and the "Last updated" date will change.
